August 11, 2023
On July 19th, we recognized our Healthiest Employers of Ohio as part of the National Wellness Institute's 48th Annual Conference.
Healthiest Employers began in 2009 and is now hosted by Springbuk, a health data analytics solution that delivers actionable insights and allows employers and consultants to make smarter healthcare management decisions. For the 2023 event, we decided to partner with the National Wellness Institute, as it became evident that our goals for employers closely align and we both are working together to build a community within Healthiest Employers.
This year, our Ohio applicants reported:
- 82.7% offer a tuition reimbursement program
- 63.5% report that leadership serves on health councils, boards, etc. outside of the company
- 59.6% have had a wellness program in place for over 10 years
- 53.8% have family planning benefits
- 23.1% provide at least 14 weeks of paid maternity leave for new mothers (only 3.8% provide this same time off for new fathers)
- 19.2% have maintained an average tenure of at least 10 years
Congratulations to our 2023 finalists!
