Amy Gallagher, PsyD, is a licensed clinical psychologist in New York and Colorado with a Master’s in Healthcare Transformation (MSHCT). Her MSHCT studies included an intensive group project on burnout and resiliency in healthcare workers. Before joining Roswell in June 2022, Amy built her career in Western Colorado at Mind Springs Health, a Community Mental Health Center, where she held various roles throughout her tenure.
Dr. Gallagher is known for her calm and approachable demeanor, coupled with a strong intuition for addressing team concerns and organizational goals. She excels at developing solutions to boost morale and ensure everyone feels heard and valued. Drawing on her lived experience of practicing wellness, Amy has created impactful resilience programs and initiatives for both clinical and non-clinical staff. Her peers deeply respect her for her expertise and contributions, which have improved team productivity and health practices.
Dr. Gallagher has made remarkable strides in the past two years by addressing burnout and promoting self-care and resilience. Her innovative program designs, such as self-care pop-ups, bring wellness initiatives directly to employees, making participation accessible without disrupting their work. Dr. Gallagher's efforts are breaking down barriers to self-care, increasing awareness of its importance, and fostering a culture of resilience within the community.
