Tim is a cable locator in the Share Services organization and has been with the company for more than 30 years. He continually proves to be a top performer in his workgroup and has been recognized internally as a Wellbeing Champion for 5 years.
Tim has a creative way of impacting the culture among his team of more than 300 members and on the company as a whole. Tim is outspoken at work about how the company lab and health coaching program intercepted serious health concerns. With appropriate intervention, he implemented behavior changes and closely monitored his health. Shortly after that, he joined Georgia Power's Wellbeing Champion network.
Recently, Tim has written multiple wellness jingles that are currently used by the company, published several meal prep videos for colleagues, and helped launch a companywide nutrition initiative to provide field workers with a Hotlogic cooking device that can be plugged into vehicles. This has helped his teammates reduce the amount of times they have to eat processed foods or stop for lunch at a fast food restaurant. Tim has also conducted workplace wellbeing surveys, hosted team challenges, and continues to be a spokesperson for wellness within the organization.
